Rim locks or more commonly known as Rim Night Latches or even more common Yale Locks. The critical measurement is the back set. This is the measurement from the leading edge of the door to the centre of the key hole.

What does a rim lock do?
Why do you need a Rim Lock? The rim lock stops the tire spinning on the rim under hard acceleration or braking, especially when the tire is being run at low pressure. If the tire was able to spin, it would rip the valve stem out of the inner tube along with a few other nasty issues.
How tight should a wheel lock be?
Getting them off a journey when you have a flat could leave you stranded, so they should be nipped up a bit more than finger tight. If the locking nut comes loose, the other wheel nuts should be fully tightened and Torqued.
How do you measure for a new door lock?
Measure from the outside edge of the door (including furniture) to the centre of your door. This is dimension A and is called the External Size to Centre. Next, measure from the inside edge of your door (including furniture) to the centre of your door to find dimension B, the Internal Size to Centre.

Do I need a Rimlock?
Running low pressures off road will require a lock on both. The front needs one to deal with braking forces and those times of instant acceleration like coming down off a long wheelie, landing from a jump, etc. Though it happens less often than the back the front can still slip on the wheel and rip the valve stem.
Are rim locks worth it?
In a neighborhood with many cars, thieves are likely to skip over vehicles with wheel locks to focus on easier and faster marks. Therefore wheel locks are worth it. It’s the same theory with bike locks.
Do you torque a wheel lock?
The wheel fasteners should be torqued evenly – leaving one fastener looser than the rest is bad advice. However, you can reduce wear and tear on the wheel locks and key by ensuring they are the LAST fastener torqued to spec. You cannot torque wheel locks.
Do you really need a torque wrench for wheels?
While a torque wrench is not absolutely required, it’s a good idea. You need to ensure the wheel is evenly clamped onto the hub. This prevents the wheel from warping and causing other issues. Using the lug wrench which comes with the car will get you down the road.
